I just connected my Sirius Streamer Replay to my Pioneer headunit's AUX input using a PIE adapter (3.5mm stereo plug to Pioneer IP-bus). The bass is now totally gone from the music. When I switch back to the FM signal, it sounds fine.

Is this a known problem with the line-out on the Streamer, or do I need to keep searching for some hidden setting on my head unit's AUX-input?

do you have a genuine pioneer rca to ip bus adapter or an ebay copy? If it is the latter, buy a genuine pioneer adapter - cd-rb10. What is happening is that the cheap adapter is wired wrong, the end result being a cancellation of bass. I had the exact same thing happen with my mp3 hard drive in my car - getting the genuine pioneer connector fixed my problem.
