NMCI charges the military $30 a month per persons e-mail account they maintain.
Which is why they're losing their contract in a couple of years. It's the worst thing ever created. At the NOCs, if you need your password changed you can't go to the guys right down the hallway and have them do it, you have to call a 1-800 number, punch in a special pin number, and get a temp password issued.
The only good thing about NMCI is the global emails. So much easier to keep track of people if everyone is [email protected] instead of [email protected].
I hate NMCI. Money hungry hoes! I don't know wtf the government was thinking. Biggest waste of money.
I read an article somewhere that basically said NMCI has managed to fail in almost every expectation the Navy had for them, even after all the money (billions) that's been shipped their way.
