After going through the autoshow today and sitting in nearly every truck there I can honestly say my favorite was the Off-road package Titan 4 door with the painted grill and bumper as opposed to the chrome. Great interior size and features, nothing else really even came close with the exception of the F150 but seemed smaller inside. I'd buy one :bigthumb:

I would say "in on 1st page" or something like that, but since we cant do that anymore I wont say it. :o

on a side note- why is this area so important to people? everyone gets so riled up when someone says this truck is better than that one or whatever. seems like truck people do it more than others.

  9. isnt the new f150 pretty much the same style as the 350?

Hotly brand loyal to put it lightly, and trucks are the most profitable vehicles an automaker can sell.

    Nissan Titan>*pickups- Not so.

If you ever want to tow or haul anything big = GM/Ford/Dodge.

    If not, go for it.

IMO it looks like a transformer or something. Fugly, plastic, Avalanche looking thing.
    To each his/her own.

I first saw one at the auto show here, and I was the same way. I instantly fell in love with the truck. I got to drive one a few weeks ago, and I must say, very nice!

Why do people get so worked up about it though? It seems very juvenile to me. People will get extremely angry at others because they say something bad about 'their brand'. Every time I see or hear someone putting so much energy into blindly bashing another brand for no reason, I instantly write them off as a complete moron. You dont see people get so worked up about washing machines or refrigerators do you?

But isn't that the same arguement used by Toyota and Honda loyalists?

I love these threads that start in OT, the ignorance about truck guys abounds. First rule, by and large we are loyal to our brand. But in recent years people have become more likely to switch if the product is good. For instance I used to be a Chevy guy but bought a Ford because I liked the style better. I still like Chevy but I think they are stuck in a rut when it comes to styling. My next truck I may consider a Dodge merely for the Hemi, but test driving will be the ultimate factor.

    Assumption???

First hand experience is where that comes from.

It's just a matter of time and I will see some moron towing an 8000 lb boat and trailer with a new Titan, (it's rated for 9000+lbs.). It will look like the typical Ford Expedition or any other 1/2 ton truck over-rated in towing and hauling capabilities, rear end dragging, front end in the air, struggling to get stopped in a hurry, and downright dangerous to manuveur.
