I don't have the link...but sr's and ka's are pretty much equally matched in the 500hp range now....

ka-t.org me thinks is the site's name :dunno:

SR20's are fantastic engines, but they require some beefing up to take a lot of power. When you do all this it isn't worth the risk.

Turbo the KA and never look back :hs:

Don't SR20DE's command a pretty penny right before race wars?

ive seen stock bottom end SRs do 400+ but around 450-500 is where things like to break. my old SR did 330rwhp daily for a year without a hiccup and its still running to this day in my buddy's car. he just doesnt drive his 240 daily tho. 330 made it fun to drive. traction was kind of an issue with my 9in wide tires in the rear.

and KA-Ts are fun but im not a fan of them. im hoping my RB doesnt make me regret selling my SR :hs:

I know what the KA-t can do. Iv seen 700rwhp + after being built and what not. If i were to do this i would want between 350-400rwhp out of it, and just thinking which would be the best way to go about it.

Yes but, If i did it it would go in a s14. I dont want to do the 5lug conversion and z32 brakes and such. My brother did that to his and it didnt look like alot of fun.

people do the 5lug for the wider range of wheel selection (and to fit z brakes if you dotn want to redrill the z rotors to 4lug). a cheaper alternative to the Z brake upgrade is q45s. 2 piston calipers. my stock brakes HATED my SR motor.

My brother did it for the z32 brakes and wheels. That thing stopped and handled like it was on rails.
