It shows he knows about nice cars. :slap: If I worked for BMW, I'd still want to own a Porsche, Ferarri, Lambo, ...

TOKYO, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Carlos Ghosn, the celebrity chief executive of Nissan Motor Co <7201.T>, was involved in a minor accident on Sunday when the Porsche he was test-driving was in a collision with a motorcycle as he was making a turn.

The two people on the motorcycle were only slightly injured, and Ghosn was unhurt, a spokesman at Japan's third-biggest auto maker said.

"It's not uncommon for executives to test-drive competitors' cars on weekends to evaluate them," he said, adding the Porsche belonged to Nissan.

Medical and repair costs will be covered by insurance, and Ghosn will not have to return to the police.

Tokyo police said the incident, which occurred in Akasaka, central Tokyo, on Sunday morning was being treated as an accident involving only property damage.

He's an admitted fan of the GTR. Doesn't mean he has to drive one.

He was test driving a Porsche, not his own Porsche. The next GT-R is going to positioned to rape the 911, so it makes sense to get an idea of what it's like.

    Huh? What truth?

I was making a "joke", that actually sucked...

But yeah, I've said before that Nissans are nicer than anything GM ever makes...

Nissan types drive the competition's cars so they know how to improve their own designs. They don't just pull them out of their asses and proclaim them to be better than last year's Taurus.
