I have a 96 maxima with the bose system. Like 100,000 other people with maximas and the bose system , my cd player quit working (its something with the laser but its clarions fault so nissan won't pay for it). Now my friend gave me his pioneer changer for free so I thought I lucked out. the stupid bose deck has all the changer controls and everything but from all the websites i've seen so far, they said that only a nissan changer is compatible with the bose deck, nothing else works.

    wtf!!!!! :rant2:

is this for real? anyone know of any new adaptors or anything that came out?

Try to get a RF Modulator for it or something. I have no experience with this, but I think it may work.

I thought the bose system sounded very good at first. But once you've heard a system with proper highs and lows, I was exteremly dissappointed with nissan's system. BTW, I'm sure the head unit is Clarion and the speakers are bose.
