Rumored to have 330-345HP and weigh a little less then the current 350Z. Apparently they also designed the rear quater glass to be a throw back to the original 240Zs....looks pretty good to me :bigthumb:

It would be better to say the 944's design is very 240Z-esque.

That's one of only two things I don't like. The other is the hexagonal grill

the grill is one of the few things that I do like about it. I do not like the swollen cankles look.

OK this needs it's own fucking thread, let us not relate it to the ugly ass 370.

This is pure sex. Must have. Where do I get one?

What are the details? Power plant, drive train etc?

If Nissan had a clue they would have put this out instead of the GTR.

That Z design (not the 370Z) is sexy. It does have its flaws, but nothing that can't be fixed. I like how it looks from every angle except from the side. It's a tad bit long.

The 370Z, well it looks alot like a 350Z to me. I'm sure there are differences, but i'm not a 350Z fan, so what do I know.

    Edit: I don't hate the 350Z either.

You can't have one, and there are no details. This was some guys freelance drawing, and Nissan sucks to much balls to make something that looks that good.

Though presumably it would be rwd.

The old S30 Z design was generally shaped the same, and also looked long, because it was so damn low to the ground. If the length lets them give it a straight six, then it's find by me.

Nissan has dedicated usage to V6's from here on in by the sounds of it.

Yet more proof that they suck balls, all of their great cars had I-6s :o

Good thing nobody gives a fuck what you think. Hell, you probably think the original S30 looks like shit as well then.

Have you seen a porsche? Datsun 240/260Z?

Looks to me like the artist was shooting for a mordern version of the old Datsun Zs. In that case it would have an I-6, a rather long engine.

In that sense then all manufacturers suck balls. Toyota no longer produces I6s, BMW has switched to a V8 in the M3, etc. Virtually all manufacturers have stopped producing I6s...and for good reason. I6s are longer and taller and do not sit as well as a V6/V8 could. A V engine can sit lower and further back pushing for a better weight balance.

I never said that there wasn't a modern mass producing manufacturer that DIDN'T suck balls :mamoru:

For the record, I hate basically ever modern car design out there :hsd:

:werd: and :werd:. Old Z's also had long hoods to fit the I-6 in there (and it looks better.

example: my (absurdly whored out) '73 Z:

Obviously not a perfect side shot, but you can still clearly see that the hood is really damn long. Hell, you can fit basically any modern engine in the engine bay of a 240Z.

Also, re: Lambo cue tailights, I'd say it really is just an updated S30 rear:

Obviously it is different, but I would say it is more paying homage to the original (as is the entire design) rather than ripping off lambo :dunno:
