Nirvana Unplugged in NY...

    I just found this cd packed away in some box from years ago, forgot how amazing it is and im not even a nirvana fan

    maybe best nirvana album of all time even though not technically an album.

    Completely agree. Nothing like seeing the guys play for the first time in three years and still pull it off with so much power and emotion.

    Probably the Nirvana album I've spent the most time listening to - and I used to be a pretty big Nirvana fan :)

    the unedited version of the show on dvd is great - if you see it around you should grab it. they cut out a lot.

    I agree the dvd is fuckin sick... still I'd take the Alice In Chains unplugged over Nirvana... didn't the dude die soon thereafter?

    Awesome album indeed. Men Who Sold The World is the best on there.

    you can download it off of easytree.org. it usually makes the rounds of wherever you can download live concerts.

    is the dvd diff than the one in "with the lights out"? i just got the box set and the live sets on dvd are rough but a great look behind the scenes.

    btw, layne staley from alice died in 2002..

    no you cant purchase it in a store, and its not what is in the boxed set.

    its from the master taped from the mtv studio, they were eventually swiped and then distributed on dvd by fans.
