Specifically ones with Nikon bodies that have LCD protectors, when you use the LCD protector is it harder for you to hold your camera steady? I find that I can't plant the camera in my face as well with that on (as funny as that sounds). :o

The LCD will probably outlast the sensor, even without the protector, so they're pretty much useless

That's what I was thinking. My 3.5 years old D50 has no scratches on its rear LCD without that protector, and from what I hear Nikon made D300's LCD even more scratch resistant.

Never had a problem on my d80 or d300 with my glasses. What kind of huge ass frames do you have?

Blah, it must be just how my face is shaped (or maybe my glasses) then. Oh well.

Thanks for chiming in fellas, I was just curious.

I had the problem with my old D70 which had no battery grip, but my D300 with the batter grip helped a lot when i did wear glasses. Now that i had Lasik its no big deal.

Do you have big glasses? I had small thin ones.

It might be just how face is shaped. Never shot my camera without glasses before. I guess I will try that today to see if glasses should even come into the equation.

Drives me nuts, I have black emo glasses :mamoru:

I've been thinking about getting a diopter that combines with the built in to allow me to set it for my prescription which is close to negative 3 something.

I actually do the opposite. I don't want to risk getting something in my contact during a shoot or wedding (I wear hard contacts btw) and having to take the time to fix it real quick. So I wear my glasses.
