So I purchased a new used lens and I have no fucking clue how to use it. It did not come with a manual and I have been searching for one or data on it to use with my D50 and cannot find shit. Can you help? Any good Nikon resources out there you can point me to? No Ken Rockwell please.

    Link to the lens below:

He is probably looking for the zoom/wide button on the backside of his D50.

the only possible problem you can run into with that lens is that the aperture ring needs to be set to its maximum value (32) for the camera to be happy. There's a locking pin to make sure it stays that way.

If that's not it, you're a numbnuts and should own a canon instead :fawk:

take off old lens, put on new lens, turn camera on, change setting to Auto, press shutter, put border around image, upload, post, you're a pro.
