i bought a new d70s, body only today for $650. Is that a good deal? :noes:

Should i buy the 18-70mm lens? or can anyone else recommend a daily use lens for around 300$ or less?

I paid $675 for a used body, two lenses (35-70mm and 70-210mm), filters, batteries, chargers, a hard pelican case, a hotshoe flash, a 1gb sandisk cf card, and the software/manuals. But I think I got a pretty good deal. $650 isn't bad for the body, you can get the 18-70mm for pretty cheap.

I love my 18-70, but i'd probably take the 28-75 f/2.8 instead. If you want wide angle, get the Tokina 12-24.
