    Here is the info:

Used Nikon D50 camera with 28-80/3.5-5.6G lens, free 2gb SD card,
all documents, accessories are included, and unfilled lens 5 year warranty card.

Camera in good working condition, and lens is in mint condition( I did not use this lens at all)

Its the 'kit' from Nikon. I can pick it up for $400. Basically want to know if this is a good entry level dslr camera. I want to do mostly night shots, and also airshow pictures which will require the ability to take pictures in rapid succession.

    Thank everyone.

The D50 only does 2.5 Frames per Second, and that is with Noise Reduction off. It is a bit slower if you have NR on. ISO1600 is pretty clean noise wise, probably the best of the lot before the release of the D3 and D300. I have one, and used it extensively. You'll like the camera, but you will probably need a better lens and a sturdy tripod. I highly recommend that you get the 50 f/1.8 and learn how to control Depth of Field, and the Rule of Thirds.

    Prime refers to fixed focal lengths. 50mm f/1.8, 35mm f/2, 200mm f/2.

You can't zoom with a prime lens. You have to use your feet to zoom in and out. Generally speaking, primes are better optically, because the internals do not move.

I  my D50, the main reason I don't use it more is cause my D2H will do 8 FPS :)

Will mainly be at Disneyland. So Fireworks, castle.... Should be intresting.

By the way, the guy with the D50 never called me back, so today I went and picked up a D70 for $450 instead!

Its the kit with the 18-70 lens, 2 batteries, and a 4gb CF card. The guy that I bought it from is a photog nut. The camera was in its original box with everything in tact. Im up to page 40 in the manual. Gonna be fun using it outside once the rain passes!
