New website setup by Nikon to show tips and tricks to all you Nikonians. Scott Kelby and Matt Kloskowski host the show. Just watched the premier episode, pretty decent. I'm for sure going to be watching this one weekly. :big grin:

    Girth...

I actually had a dream last night and you were in it. You had your head shaved and you just showed up when I turned a corner. You were leaning up against a brick wall and you handed me a Polaroid camera. Then I woke up :(

    Yeah man. I dont know.

The Girth in the dream didnt even look anything like you but when I saw "you", I knew it was you. And you even said, "Im Girth". It was pretty cracked out. You gave me the camera, shook my hand, said some stuff about photography that I cant remember, and then I woke up.

And no...it wasnt shaped like a penis :squint:

I'm gonna say this is probably kinda high on the list of things you shouldn't actually ever tell someone.

    WTF, that was worthless.

my D80 already had the command dial pic scroll option on defaulted (Ohhh must be HIGH END), knew about the NX capture 2 feature and i would think that live view should be able to scroll the WB like that. hell, my P&S sony does.

meh. I'll stick with DLing the Image Doctors podcast on Nikonias.org

for something that seems is aimed to novices, use the novice cams. not the d300 and 700. ppl that have those cams should already know that shit they are talking about.

I had never thought about the WB setting through the live view... So that's a new trick. The other piece I already knew. I wasn't posting this to make everyone become a pro. If you know what you know, awesome. But if you can pick up a few pointers, even better. I'm sure you, me, or any other Nikon user on this or any other forum doesn't know all that is Nikon. :o

    you totally missed my point.

if they are going to do "cool shit" with the 300 and 700 why not any of the stuff that is unique to the high equipment. or at least advanced techniques like the in camera double exposure stuff.

i'll say it again, "for something that seems is aimed to novices, use the novice cams. not the d300 and 700. ppl that have those cams should already know that shit they are talking about."
