A&P nikon Crew: tell me why i should buy a 18-200mm VR lens

    those that have a nikon 18-200mm VR lens what made you buy one.. i kinda want one :x:

    it's good if image quality isn't a big deal to you.. it's convenient :dunno:

    i don't get all the 18-200vr hate....I'm going to post comparison pics soon between my 18-200vr and 80-200 f/2.8 and see how many of you can actually even tell a difference :rolleyes:

    its an awesome everyday lens, just not "pro" quality.

    seems like a decent lens for what it is. not to mention, i've seen used copies under $600, so its not a bad price.

    iven seen some for just a little over $500....little off topic how much would a 18-70mm nikon go for:naughty:

    not sure, i'm not a nikon shooter :o i just keep seeing copies of the 18-200 on craigslist. i wish that there was a canon version of the nikon 10.5 fisheye that i found locally for 475 used.

    unprocessed except for a slight sharpen because i shot at f/3.5
    1/3000 @ f/3.5 (not sure why i didn't shoot at a higher f-stop, must not have been paying attention) its still pretty sharp.
