used nikon for 300 or 700 for tokina.

is the tokina worth it or just go with the nikon? both are cad prices.

you sure the 12-24 is actually a nikon? if so, that's a steal. and if you decide to get the tokina, hook me up with that nikon deal. i'd snag that up immediately. i'm in the market for a wide angle.

I'm sure the Nikon piece is nice, but I have never been more satisfied with a lens as I am with the Tokina.

based on that price, i'm guess the nikon is actually the tokina 12-24. that's the lens i'm in the market for right now actually. unless i can justify the extra for the 11-16.

    no, it's not.

I'd buy it, sell it, buy the tokina, and pocket the rest.

Or, buy it and trade it to me for my tokina, so when I go FF, I still have an ultra wide....

But this can't be real, so I don't even know why i'm discussing it.
