    February is up :)

All "Active" members from December and January have been re-invited. Those not participating for 2 months won't be re-invited in march just to keep the roster clean. If you get dropped and want to participate again, feel free to PM me.

As always, if you have any questions, or would like to be added to the challenge, send me a PM and I'll add you as soon as I can.

    Challenge ends 2/28/2009 11:59PM

    Link to Challenge: http://nikeplus.nike.com/nikeplus/?l=all_challenges,70991698

Find Local Marathon Events http://www.marathonguide.com/ (Thanks to "The Weasel")

Nike+ Kit: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MA365LL/C?fnode=MTY1NDA3NA&mco=MjI5Nzc (you don't need this if you have a NEW iPod touch or use the Nike+ wristband)

    Refurbished nanos: http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APP.../wa/RSLID?sf=wHF2F2PHCCCX72KDY&nclm=Certified

Shoe pouch for non Nike+ shoes: http://www.grantwoodtechnology.com/shoepouch/

    NOTE:
You DO NOT need to purchase a Nike+ shoe. See Above
NOTE: Nike now sells a wrist band that does not require you to use an iPod or iTunes but still use the Nike+ website and participate in a challenge. Check your local stores (link) for information
NOTE: After you upload your run to your Nike+ page it can take a while for it to show up on the challenges page. Just keep that in mind.

I got new running shoes (Brooks)

My whole problem was the ~412 miles on my old shoes. I overpronate a LOT and I was having too many issues with training hard, recovering, sore joints, etc.

Hopefully the weather will clear up a bit and I'll be able to actually get out and run this month.

    challenge link doesn't work...

I only run 2 days a week (~2 miles) unless the weather gets above 30*, so me joining is pretty pointless anyway.

can i get an invite to this months challenge? nike+ username: afurste

i just got a refurbished nano and the sport kit. after 2 runs the nano would stop recognizing the sensor between 1.5- 3 miles. it would just randomly say, activity stopped please center button. the sensor kit thing is brand new, so it must be the refurbished nano, right?

It all depends on your feet I'd guess, but yeah 400+ is high for an overpronator like me

I used to use Sports tracker with my n95 which is essentially the same as activity monitor. Worked fairly well, but I prefer the Nike thing as I can just completely forget that it's even there.

So I finally got around to using my Nike+ trainers with my sportsband however with the sensor in the shoe cushion, it wouldnt pick up anything and I only realised after about a mile

So im back with keeping the sensor in my sock on top of my foot and have probably overspent on trainers which dont do as they should :uh:
At least im not in pain today, I think the trainers helped with that as they're good for over-pronators + a good stretch means I think i'll do another 5 miles tonight

I'll find my username to join in

Glad to see people are actively running in here, my roommate got me to go out to the gym the last three days. Hopefully I'll start accumulating some miles before the end of February.
