    tokina 11-16mm

    what is left to buy?

a diffuser of some type, any recommendations?

for diffusion in clubs, i always used a bounce card made with form paper, it works great and its cheap. you can just mount the flash on the shoe.

but i never use UWA lenses as it causes undesirable distortion

I don't know if this says anything about any of the ones you listed, but I bought a generic 3rd party off camera shoe cord off of ebay. It worked fine for the first month or so, then a connection came loose near one end of the cord and it only works in certain positions now

what you have right now is just fine. like legendr34 said, the UWA will cause distortion, so if you have anything in the 17-50 range, you'd fair better.

Bounce card will work, or you can just angle the flash up a little. You're going to have a longer shutter to get the ambient light so don't worry too much about the flash...just tone it down a little.
