If you're taking fish oil, you don't need olive or flax in your shake unless you need the calories.

I'm more looking for the fat to help sustain my hunger during the night time.

I don't think you need flax if you take fish oil, but you should get some monounsaturated fats (such as olive oil) in your diet. I actually like my shakes better with a tablespoon of olive oil.

i have a tablespoon or two of peanut butter because i really like it, it's fat content is about 50% monounsaturated. Olive oil is even better though, i think it's around 70% monounsaturated fat.

Is that protein powder more whey or more casein?

Does the PB mix in good if you use a shaker bottle?

no i'd think you'd need to blend it, but i like to eat it separately anyway.

technically speaking it's actually better this way, fats first, then protein. In reality i doubt it makes much of a difference - i do it because i like to eat peanut butter :yum:

    I'd go for the Flax.

You're body doesn't need monounsaturated fat, as it can be produced from all the other foods you eat. Polyunsaturated fat is the one you have to eat cos you can only get it from the diet.

Having said that, mono-unsaturated fat is not unhealthy in the slightest, it defo can help with the fat soluable vitamins.
