Clouds looked cool so I went down for a shot off the dock
did you do some blurring in PP on the clouds and water to smooth them out?
It was probably just a longer exposure
best shot I've seen from you IMO.
Looks great, but I'd clone the tower out.
I like the tower
Well thank you
answer my question, fucker!
Nope long exposure + long exposure NR mode on my nikon on
wish the tower had a bigger impact b/c its fucking awesome
excellent shot. maybe post a larger copy?
What does that Long Exposure NR do?
I usually leave it off because I cant really see much of a difference and my shots come up on preview a lot faster.
...now that I think about it, its probably just noise reduction. That would make sense.
As for the shot: Its great. The tower adds a lot to it, gives a good focus point as well as making an other wise monotonous shot interesting.
Really nice. I'd like to pickout something wrong it, but I can't.
Normally on exposures longer than 8 seconds, the camera can start heating up, and the heat can cause weird pinkish/purple blotch to appear on your images, check out http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/d200/d200-dark.htm
where he is talking about the 4 minute exposure.
