    What does that Long Exposure NR do?
    I usually leave it off because I cant really see much of a difference and my shots come up on preview a lot faster.


    ...now that I think about it, its probably just noise reduction. That would make sense.

    As for the shot: Its great. The tower adds a lot to it, gives a good focus point as well as making an other wise monotonous shot interesting.

    Normally on exposures longer than 8 seconds, the camera can start heating up, and the heat can cause weird pinkish/purple blotch to appear on your images, check out http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/d200/d200-dark.htm
    where he is talking about the 4 minute exposure.
