    not bad for a newbie but for one, too much noise. the second one is out of focus and I stopped after that because the photos were too big and I was sick of scrolling

    too much noise? I took some sunset pictures and i got the same response. What do you mean by that and what can i do to stop it?

    too much noise means your iso is set relatively high. Normally, you'll start noticing significant noise above iso 600. im not sure what you have yours set at but it must be somewhat high. also, you can play around in photoshop to rid most of the noise too.
