I was surfing around and found some cool tricks for OSX. Some are useless, some are more useless than others and some are actually useful. I'll let you decide what is what for you.

    MegaZoom
While holding the control key, use your scroll wheel and scroll up and down to zoom the screen.

    In-Line Dictionary
We all know about the ability to highlight words and right click to use the dictionary to define a word. But try this. Put your mouse over a word, then hit control + command + D and it will define the word in line, without opening dictionary.

    Negative Space
If you randomly want to turn everything negative on your screen, try the following: control + option + command + 8.

    Slow Genie Effect
If you hold the shift key while minimizing a window (double click the window or the minimize button) it will slow down the genie effect. Fun to watch. You can do the same when clicking on it on the dock to restore.

    Feel free to add more!

I learned about the inverted colors a couple weeks ago when my sister tried to do Apple + Control + Reset, and hit this combination instead.

i had this cat that used to like to sleep on my laptop. one time i came home and the screen looked like a black and white photo negative. she somehow walked around on the laptop and changed the screen settings. i couldn't for the life of me figure out how to change it back. the guys at the genius bar had a real good laugh that day.

EDIT: i no longer have a cat.
