I'm looking for something that will be reliable, somewhat fast-fast car, w/ nice interior. So far I'm looking at an early 2000 BMW or maybe a Volvo S80T or 60T, but I'm open for suggestions. So what car would you guys recommend (any other types too)??

will the e6M3 cost $10,000 or less? Also, how reliable are these cars? Say I find one that is around 150,000 miles, could I expect another 100K from it (if well maintained)??

For $10k, if you look around you can find one with less than 100k miles. My buddy just bought one with 72k miles for 9900. There are multiple E36 M3s out there with nearly 300k miles. If well maintained, it could last you forever.

Main things to look out for are the cooling systems, guibo joint, and rear suspension bits (basically all the rubber in the chassis that gets old/brittle with age), couple other little things. The car is ridiculously easy to work on, too.

(looks at pictures of guibo joints)

Are you shitting me? They replaced a steel universal joint with a rubber disk? What kind of left-wing pinko communist bullshit is that? No wonder the fucker wears out! :ugh:
