Need a new phone and has to be unlocked considering my provider is Centennial Wireless
what are you looking for in a phone? looks, usability, battery life, sound or signal quality, features?
I am looking for looks and usability... I have no need for internet or any of the Pocket PC features, but that doesn't rule out a smart phone... I want something that has bluetooth and plays mp3 ringtones... that is about all of my 'must haves'
Every phone out there has bluetooth and can play mp3's.
Is there any brand you specifically like? Nokia, SE, Motorola?
Form factor? Flip, bar, slide?
Bar or slide
I was looking at SE or maybe even a Samsung
where can i get it for that much?
Hmm...you could buy mine. I've had mine for 6 months and its been the best phone i have ever used...I would actualy recommend a new one which is 250-300 but even on the higher end, its worth it.
The W810i is a good phone that can be gotten pretty cheap these days. Just make sure its unlocked and unbranded when you buy it. You don't want to buy a Cingular one that you can't use, or limits your features.
The K750i is also a great phone, is basically the same as the W810i, and can be had dirt cheap. As long as you don't need 850mhz, its a great alternative.
Samsung doesn't make much in bar phones anymore, though they do make some niffty slides. I don't know how much the price has decreased lately, but the D900 is a kickass slide from Samsung with a beautiful screen and 3mp camera.
