My gf is going to be getting the Canon digital rebel for christmas... and I want to get her a nice camera bag for it. I saw some at a local camera store for 30-40 dollars that seemed pretty nice. That's about the price range I'm looking at. Any suggestions of nice brands or websites with good prices? Thanks.

shoulder bag, backpack, camera one lens only, what kind are you thinking?

Tamrac & Lowepro have the most available.

I agree, Lowepro is a great brand. I've got the Lowepro CompuTrekker AW backpack coming to me for Christmas to keep my 20D and lenses/accessories in, as well as my laptop

This might be the type of thing you either need to ask her or elude to while looking at bags with her. Because now for my rebel I have a lowepro which basically holds just the camera and the lens. I plan on getting a 20D and additional lenses within the next year and I'm thinking a shoulder bag/backpack would better suit my needs.
