After selling my D100 I don't know if I wanted to go the Nikon route again (not because I didn't like it...in fact I loved it...but wanted a Canon just to try out)...but this looks like a pretty good deal.

    Do I get it? :noes:

If it's that cheap, it's probably a scam, pretty common on some websites for DSLRs. Where is that price?

Go try Canon. I'm contemplating this myself but I've invested in Nikon too much already.

i think you might be disappointed going to a d40 from a d100. while that is cheap you are taking a considerable step backwards in the nikon product line to a strictly consumer level camera from a very much prosumer camera.

It's on craigslist and I decided not to make the jump backwards...I'm actually looking for another D100 or a D200 if I can get a good deal.
