What's the deal with waiting for your form 1 or form 4 to be approved? I've seen people post who their inspector is or something and there are some of them who are notorious for taking a long time to process stuff. How do I find out who mine is?

I think you meant "NFA Gurus".

The apostrophe must be confusing people.

Depends on who answers the phone, the women are very polite. But there is a guy sometimes that is less than cordial. Oh and BTW :fawk:

Wait so this is the can from the tattoo promotion correct? Did AAC send it on a Form 3 to your dealer already, then you filled out a submitted the Form 4? Or has your dealer not even recevied it from AAC yet?

Yes this was the AAC promotion. I had to use an AAC dealer for the transfer. The can showed up at the dealer about 2 months ago. Dealer called me and I went in to fill out the paper work. Apparently only the owner of the shop handles NFA stuff, and he was about to teach a class when I was there. I gave him my address and a copy of my trust and he said he'd mail me the paperwork with instructions on what to do. I get the paperwork in the mail but it doesn't include the trust. I fill out the paperwork and take it back to the shop. The owner wasn't there, so I left the paperwork with an employee explaining the missing trust thing, he said he would take care of it. Maybe a week or so after that the check I made out to the BATFE was cashed.

    Now here I am.

form 4's go by the dealers name. Form 1's go by the individuals. I'm not sure what examiners have what letters. Jason Frushour has a thru d at least.
