I had two brides each wanting to book me for the same day. I told both of them that I would have to honor whoever sent in their deposit first. Unfortunately the bride who picked my cheapest package sent in her deposit first. Oh well, I've got two weddings booked for 09' so far.

Not bad considering I've only shot one wedding. :mamoru:

Oh....and I had 69 hits on my website today. Most ever in one day! :bigthumb:

Now I can start paying myself back for all the shit I've been buying.

And yesterday I had lunch with a guy who started shooting weddings four years ago. Today, he specializes in destination weddings, only books 15 a year, and his prices start at $8000 per wedding! Nice work if you can get it!! Apparently he can get it!

    You don't say~ :mamoru:

I'm not new in this subforum but there was a big gap in my activity in A&P, I guess I missed JColman threads.

I'll wait a year and see if the "gotta-have-it's" have any issues with the camera before I buy one.

I'm doing just fine with my 5D and 1dmklln for now.

Thanks! I'm constantly changing it. I'm never 100% satisfied with it.

if you can, slow down the slideshow on your main photography page... by the time I'm just starting to really look at the shot, it changes.

Did you use some kind of template for your website design for did you design it from ground up? I personally hate usage of heavy flash for a website, but it looks like that's the industry standard. :hs: And since I suck with flash, I need a good template.

it's a template called "george" that I bought from bludomain. I also host with them. I had no problems getting my site up and running.

Now if I could just manage to shoot one wedding a week for the next 52 weeks.......

I could quit my day job!

and be totally burned out on weddings and end up living on the side of a road panhandling for beer money.
