That's 3 different breed of guns...I'd say get them all :dunno:

    SIG for IDPA
    CZ for IPSC
FN for the bad guy wearing bullet proof vest :eek3d:

If I was spending that much on a 1911 I'd get a kimber.

until sig works out all the problems with the GSR, don't bother. it's a really expensive 1911 for not as good a reputation as an SA or a kimber. 5-7's would be nearly useless in a practical application, so that'd rule it out for me, but then, so would the IPSC part of the CZ. i'd just get a normal CZ, a 75B or 75BD.

Wait on the Five Seven. I predict they'll drop in price.

Get one. Mount it on your wall. Stare at it. :bigthumb:

Besides, if the country goes to hell in a handbasket, the ability to shred Kevlar might be nice.

If SHTF and you're firing at people in Kevlar with ANY pistol, then you're already fucked.

No, you just bust out the pistol while you run to go grab your M240.

If Shrike ever gets their upper out you could have a belt-fed too.

9mm will go through kevlar, as will many other handgun rounds. it takes IIIA to stop anything you'd use for a carry load.

the shrike is vaporware, and i'm more certain every day that the people who have payed for them already are never going to see that money or the upper. i can't wait until my friend gets his HK21. a belt-fed .308 will be nice.

oh, and the Glockade has been proven as a great offensive weapon against unsuspecting enemies. and allies.

If you kids honestly select your handguns based on "which ones will go through kevlar", then I'm in the wrong forum.

It's been proven that 67% of armed robberies are committed by criminals who have to steal things to pay for their kevlar :slap:

I don't see them dropping in price anytime soon, unless a new model comes out or another manufacterer starts making a gun that shoots the 5.7x28 round. It's an awesome gun and it's a blast to shoot, just a little fugly.

oh the sig GSR? DON'T buy one. nearly all of the first run of them have been recalled. if you do decide to get one, wait and see how the second run of them goes.
