    is that a machined reciever? i know ohio ordnance has either said they would, or has already started making machined recievers. i think that was them.

    oh, and do it with plum furniture. i like the plum stuff.

    :dunno: its a stamped reciever.... the SEAK II will also have an ohio ordnance reciever.

    They only come with the furniture pictured.

    I will either switch to Ironwood designs laminate, or black or plum polymer... not sure yet.

    the price aint too bad either, $459 + $20 shipping for ARFCOM members and possibly a LE discount on top of that for me :bigthumb:

    oh and anyone know the story behind plum furniture? was that on '47s or justr '74s

    i think they put it on 74's. they rarely ever used wood on 74's.

    went to the gun show today and they had every sort of ak variant for under $300...of course there were higher priced ones too, but you could get a standard wood stock, syn stock, or an underfolder for about that price. probably not the best ak, but it goes bang!
