I kinda doubt these drug cartels are LEGALLY purchasing the weapons anyway.... What good is a new ban/law if they aren't even following existing laws now??

I do wonder where they get their 90% figure. Maybe a good chunk of that is guns our government sold to the Mexican army, which found they way into the hands of drug cartels??

How can you get a 90% of guns come from the US into Mexico statistic when the Mexican government won't give us the serial numbers?

In addition, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid both shot down the idea that Congress would take up any new assault weapons ban this year.

I like how it was "the gun lobby" that went nuts over the comment on a proposed ban, not the general public. It's all those evil lobbyists, they don't even represent the average public, they're NUTS!

Whenever it's liberals that want change, it's "the people" (or "the workers, or whatever). When it's conservatives, it's "the (x) lobby", or "big (x)" (like Big Oil, etc.)

  10. :werd: Fuck Mexico. They are little more than a corrupt narco-state at this point. Everything wrong with Mexico is our fault according to the Mexicans.

Or the string trick, it's just funny, because anytime I have seen it it usually malfunctions pretty quickly.

Notice what they are saying is changing.

First it was 90% were "bought" in the US - now 90% are "coming" from the US - which may verywell be true.

90% may be MADE in the USA and SOLD to foreign governments like the Mexican police, and then they are traded to the drug dealers.

But the way they are portraying it is lying, they are acting like the guns are being sold here to them, which is not the case.

 R16 we can purchase ICBM's now?
"Don't ever try to stop the NRA from giving weapons to Drug Cartels, because they will resist it on the grownds that is in our Constitution. .50 MM long rage sniper rifles, fully automatic 7.5MM NATO cop killer Kalishnikofs, R16, H&K, etc machine guns are want our founding fathers intended you see.

Furthermore our founding fathers had in mind to arm drug cartels to the teeth, so that they can run amuck in our streets, or Mexican streets killing inocent people, and corrupting our children by hooking them into life addictions.

So the NRA as usual corrupts a simple argument that is COMMON SENSE to any normal person on this planet---Except of course IDIOTS.

SOme people on this blog try to make the point that high powered weapons fully automatic bans "do nothing to reduce crime" should go to Mexico and live there for a year or so , and have the asses shot up by a machine gun and see if they change their stupid ideas.

7,000 killed in Mexico in 2008, but I guess that is not a problem for these imbeciles... They need to have the same problem here in America --- Kind of like what happened with our financial mess. Let the *** hit the fan before we even consider any possible changes .

I am a hunter, I don't need any stuoid NRA , and I kill with one shot, or I don't take the shot.

That's what a hunter should do. PERIOD END OF STORY.

If you idiots want to play with machine guns move to Iraq, and put your B.S. into practice see how you like it. "

You want to find the real source of guns in Mexico. I'll give you a riddle. Whats red, starts with a "C" ends with an "a" and has allot of people who cannot pronounce the letter "L"

If they think they can stop the guns, why don't they prove it by stopping the drugs and cash first? - J. Lott.
