    Hi all

I am relatively new to photography, and my dad got a new digital camera for christmas so i thought i'd go out and try and take some photos...

here's what i came up with (last one of AE86 is an old scan i did of a hardcopy photo i had laying around)

Any criticism, input etc would be greatly appreciated, as i like photograpy... especially like photographing cars and nature (like waterfalls, forests etc)

It's hard to critique a car photo, most of the people who view it won't ever fully appreciate anything you put into it , and the basic idea of it lacks A LOT of things I appreciate in a good photo, no interesting use of focus, or apetures or depth of field or lenses or anything, Just my opinion

I agree its just picture of a car with a sunset, nothing special.

  6. you're getting a little too low... you want the view to be as if you are on the same plane as the subject, even a little above. those make the car look bigger than it is. also find a background that is a little more capitvating. here's a pic that illustrates what i'm saying. sorry if its a little big.[IMG]
