It looks like a cluster fuck. After I clicked around and found out how to use it, it was okay...

    Less cluster, more easy navigation.

    Nice shots though.

what bothered you the most on navigating?
That's one of my main goals in designing a website! ack!

Maybe i should make the "about, blog, auto, etc" links more visible?

    Thanks!

    looks great!

although, i had to look around for a bit to find the horizontal scroll bar. isn't there a way to make it a different color or something?

I love the look, but you've got to do something a out that horizontal scroll, i think it needs to go away, or make it vertical. Most people aren't used to ahving to scroll horizontally

feels good man. If you can, bring up your logo/scroll bar a bit. I'm on a 1440x900 screen right now and it only shows half of it.

yeah, designing webpages on large monitors is deceiving.

i made mine on a 30" and then had to resize everything after I loaded it for the first time on my macbook

    cool cool cool
    good to hear feedback.
Looks like the main concern is the sheer size of the website (for smaller resolutions), the horizontal scroll (fuck you guys that's staying), and the legibility of the navigation icons.

All will be addressed, i'm just happy to have something new up now :wiggle:

    1. Horizontal scrolling = bad mkay?
    2. The page itself doesn't fit on a 1280x1024 screen and you have to scroll horizontally (not just the blog posts, the entire page)
    3. Two navigation bars is not ideal
    4. About you & contact should be the same page unless you're using a contact me form
    5. Site logo should be clickable and link back home

Ya first thing i'm going to address is the size, thanks for the reassurance.
I think the dual navigation bars will be more acceptable after I make the "about, connect, auto, etc" links more prominent.
I was debating about having my logo clickable, I minus whale now.

    Thanks!
And what's up with www.swcip.com? Not workin for me

i like blogger myself, but wordpress seems pretty cool too. I don't like how you have to type in your name, email, and website to leave a comment though. Just me. :dunno:

I need to find out what in my code isn't working for different browsers. Safari on my mac sees it just fine but Firefox doesn't. My work PC doesn't see it either.

It's just a dumping ground for now anyways...im trying to build a new site by myself and I just learned how to get the tables and images to line up the way I want. :coolugh:

god that horizontal scroll sucks ass. I'd love to look at more of your work, but I refuse to scroll sideways ever again.

    updated mother fuckers!
and i added a neat little "key" at the bottom to tell you dumbshits that this website uses "horizontal scrolling"

    haha, thanks for the input

...now i just need to make my "home" page look snazzier. I think i just need more content.
