    Hey guys....

Got a computer that has a 2ghz+ Athlon, 100 gig hard drive, and 512 megs of ram, but I suspect that the video card is lacking. Its the one that came with the computer, I'm assuming a 16meg one? It was the top of the line emachines computer at the time that my parents bought it.

When running winamp5 visualizations in full screen it looks jumpy, and just does not look nice. When I shrink them down, it looks fine, but at fullscreen it looks like garbage.

I do ZERO gaming on the computer. I'm looking for a suggestion on a video card that would help me out with smooth visuals in winamp.

    Thanks,
    Zach

hmm. no gaming, huh? you should be able to pick up a 64 MB geforce4mx for under $50, but you will probably regret it if you ever want to play a game

If it's an eMachines, then it is probably onboard video which is extremely lacking.
It is also possible that it does not have an AGP slot at all.
If this is the case, then your choices are more limited, but you should be able to find a GeForce 4MX or ATI 9000 card that won't set you back too much $$$.
