Ruger must be contracting stock production out to Tapco.

Ruger is simply trying to cash in on the pending assault weapons ban.

I saw one of those today at 30% More Than Everyone Else.... I mean Arfcom Depot... sorry, Cheaper Than Dirt. Thought it was some tacticooled M1A (or worse - an M1 Carbine) and paid it little attention because it was hard on the eyes.

The only reason to buy a Mini-14 is to get around state AR bans and Rugers ruins that with this design.

Actually in this panic, I think Ruger will sell a bunch. Expected retail price?

Transferrable and registered prior to that fateful day in 1986?

    Interesting...

    Yes.

They're backups for unrepairable warranty guns.

Oh. So not exactly for sale.

I'd think that only bizzare catastrophic damage to the receiver would warrant keeping transferrable backups around.

Damn those sellouts for that, and the Mk series. Broken clock/twice a day, I guess.

"And then we gave the ATF the secret password to activate the self-destruct device built into all our guns which renders them inoperable at the time of the governments choosing."
