    Got it for free :bowdown: and just bought few rolls of film...i am more excited then getting the 5D2 :mamoru: which I only used it to shoot video :wackit:

    I've got a 135mm 2.8 prim on a pentax K mount that looks just like that. Great lens.

    i got the Minolta XG1 with 50 1.4 too. i love it.

    it doest have all the fancy functions but i like the pictures it takes, i think that was the first minolta slr with the Auto Function

    Awww I have a soft spot for Minolta. It's what I used to learn photography like... ten years ago.

    My dad had an old minolta p&s. He loved that camera. Beat the piss out of it, and it just kept working. Had the thing for 15 years before replacing it, and this is after he dropped it off his Harley at 65-70mph.

    Today we were out shooting, i put 1 color and 1 b&w film through it. I am gonna take this thing to every job event.

    Oh and the damn flash is powerful as hell and works flawlessly.

    :werd: i damn near shit myself when my 50d fell off the chair tonight... fortunately the lens hood soaked up the hit, and spared the gear. :Ownedd:
