whatever comes in the box i decide to buy :hsugh:

I know i'll prob get flamed by somebody for saying this.... but im really not to worried about what ammo i put though it. As long as its not some really low end stuff.

as long as it's not from a gun show, any ammo is pretty much good ammo. :hsugh:

I'm pretty sure he's asking that cause you said you got a box of bullets thrown in, which in literal terms means just a box of slugs or projectiles.

I have the exact same gun only in a 9mm. You are gonna love it. I have a new holster coming for mine today... another reason to go shooting. Good Luck with the gun. And the bi-tone slide is a lot nicer than the black one... but it still needs some TLC so keep it oiled good and put some armadillo on it and you'll be fine.

Glock? That'd be like like buying a BMW and then someone saying "You should have bought a Toyota" Are they both good vehicles? Yes, but is the BMW a better choice? Absolutely.

You are considering a Glock a Toyota and an XD a BMW????? :squint:

If the Glock is the Toyota, then the XD is the Scion ... fairly new and unproven, but seems to be pretty good quality and has a decent following of new owners.

Nice. I opted for the Glock 23 instead but I will buy a 9mm XD sometime soon just to have one. :)

I got a fobus kydex gen2 belt holster from pistol-gear.com I love it. It has an adjustable retention screw and the XD snaps into it perfectly. For the money, you can't beat it. The guy that runs the site, Scott, is a great guy too.. and knows what he is talking about if you have any questions.

I've shot many glocks, and I feel the same way - give me a Beretta, Sig, or H&K and I feel right at home. Don't let other people tell you want to buy though - whatever FEELS best to YOU in YOUR hands is what you want for a pistol, no matter WHO makes it. If it feels like an extension of your body when you pull it up to shoot, you will usually shoot it well.

    Just my 2 cents.
