the first ar15 is an lwrc m2a with a 16in barrel, harris bipod, and a trijicon tr24
i was gonna build be an ar for shits and giggles and decided to just buy one off the shelf

the second ar has the lightweight dedicated .22 upper i just picked up. i put the lower assembly together myself and it was pretty straightforward :x:

the shotgun is the benelli supernova with a tube extension. i couldn't justify getting an m4 though i really wanted one, because i want to shoot trap and etc and didn't want to get yet another barrel for $300 :wtc:

i've only had that scope so i can't really compare it to anything else.

the orange dot is awesome during the day, and i was worried because it seems to disappear when you put our hand over the yellow bar....

so took the thing into a dark closet to make sure that the dot was still there with the tritium and all :mamoru:

Looks like you're off to a good start.
I'd keep the AR's as far away from each other in the safe as you can. If they get too close, they'll start multiplying.

also would appreciate any thoughts for a scope for the .22lr upper

    :x:

i remington 700 i bought comes with a nikon scope, but i also bought a trijicon 5-20x scope that i was going to put on the .308 :hs:

    http://www.opticsplanet.net/bushnell-3-9x32-rimfire.html

this one seems to be really popular for the .22 but maybe i should get a reddot or something?

Mueller APV is one of the best rimfire scopes you can get.

what's wrong with the xmark trigger

i don't know anything about these rifles except that they're reasonably cheap for what they do...

    any ammo considerations?

i was thinking about getting them in bulk

    600 Rds. .308 168 gr (M118) FMJBT Ammo

    vs

    400 rds. .308 147 - gr. FMJ Ammo

  20. It's fine unless you actually want to adjust it. The word on the street is if you set it anywhere below 3.5# it will eat itself up.

As for ammo, what do you want to do with the rifle?

At the magpul class, a Sherrif's deputy was running basically the same LWRC rifle, no problems.

Chris Costa had a SBR LWRC too, good rifles.

Chris/Travis ragged on the POS aka, POF in the class, and as predicted, i ran into double feeds and assorted jams every now and then.

    ETA:

Most recent picture of my SPR.

This is all the shit I brought to my Magpul class... but didn't even take the SPR out of the trunk.

i just plan on taking it to the range to shoot at paper mostly :)

if i can get my friend to take me hunting for pigs, i'll do that too :big grin:

  23. How good of groups do you want on paper, and at what range? The ammo you have above is fine plinking ammo, but if you're looking to shoot impressive groups with it you'll be disappointed.
