New to weightlifting, want to gain weight. Need Advice!

    Just want to start off by saying I know next to nothing about nutrition. However I managed to find the following sample meal plan

    What do you guys think? By the way, i'm the typical skinny hard gainer (5'10" 135lbs!) :hs:

    I'll be hitting the gym 3 times a week. Stupid question : do I follow the above meal plan every day or only on the days I'm training?

    In terms of how much protein I need, i've heard it's around 1-2g per lb. What do you guys recommend? I'll obviously need to adjust the above meal plan to cater to my body weight.

    Your help is appreciated!!

    eat eat eat. I doubt you are a hard gainer, not at 135lbs anyways. Just eat, then eat more.

    Jump on christophs routine, and eat till you cant eat anymore. High calorie meals, and try and eat something constantly.

    at this point, i'd be happy to gain like 15 lbs.

    but of course i wanna gain as much as possible

    And for you, I'd go with 2x bodyweight in protein and go for like 4k calories. Eat everything in sight and don't go with a set meal plan. Just fuckin' eat!

    Just stuff your face with everything and use chris' routine. Eat everything everyday not just on days you lift.

    damn....I think im a hardgainer and im 5'11" 152lbs. But yeah eat everything you can and lift hard. Get enough sleep as well..7-8 hours a night.
