my friend shoots stuff for bird watching magazines & i always liked his stuff so I took the plunge. I called Cameta & picked up a

    D40x body
    Nikkor AF-S DX 18-200 mm f/3.5-5.6G VR IF-ED lens

don't know shit about any of this stuff but my friend told me this setup will be ok for a week or two.

you'll find me in here quite a bit so don't murder me if i ask dumb questions.

    cheers:wavey:

I really like my 18-200. It's awesome for travel or when you shoot like I tend to when I've a got spare time.

ie. no plan or agenda, just wandering around and looking for what needs to be photographed.
