A&P New to Photograpy ...pics inside

    here are a some pics i took.... I have no photo gear or training....just what ive done with self taught experimentation. I have a 35mm Minolta x700 with no upgrades....and a Canon Powershot A95 and no upgrades.

    1st and 3rd lack pop.

    Middle one looks a little dark and probably has some camera shake. Could just be OOF though.

    could compresing a higher res picture make it do that?...these are like a 1/8 the res they are in origional format

    here is part of that picture in full res.... you are prolly right though.... All 3 of those pics are taken freehand with no tripod.... I really need to get a tripod.... and a digital SLR for that matter.

    the 3rd picture is taken while riding in a car actually. :o

    Sometimes pictures taken while driving come out far far nicer than you'd expect. Here's one my buddy took through the window of my truck during the rain, talk about a bad set of conditions to work with:

    The second pic is also badass, but a tripod would have made it perfect.
