Hey, so I am really new to photography, got my 1st dslr around xmas time.
I have always have had an intrest in it, but its a pricey hobbie. Anyways I went to a moto x show and took a few pics here is one i clearly used PS to do some stuff. Anyways i can handle any kind of harsh critisism you wanna swing ha. Just remember this is the 1st action shot ive takin, and I am like 2 months old into the hobbie.

Camera shake or oof, probably both. Terrible composition and the depth of field is too wide.

looks to me like you zoomed in to far and the picture is fuzzy/ pixelated a bit.

also, make sure you are focused on your subject - he looks out of focus.

    keep practicing.

    go with the original
Its out of focus or camera shake... hard to tell without exif. Just like Spurious said. Tough shot from that angle anyways. the banners and steel beams take away from it.

    ... Ok then..

Everyone started somewhere, true. And I would have learned a lot faster if I had OT telling me EXACTLY what was wrong with a photo or letting me know when I thought a shot was a keeper really belonged in the bin from the get.

Read one thread in OTAP and you'll realize that people here tell it like it is, something that is rare and PRICELESS when you want to get into this hobby. If you want people to gush over your fucking snapshot take it to POTN and learn NOTHING.

People go to POTN to post pics and get their cock sucked. They post on OTAP to hear the truth.

and if he wants some pointers, he needs to shot much tighter, and shoot wide open depending on his lens since it looks like the lighting where he shot at is pretty bad.

He also needs to shoot very tight to get rid of distracting backgrounds and work on his angles.

lots of cleanup in this thread.

OzzieChan - don't be a dick... the OP was given honest feedback... then you came in with your douchebaggery and the thread went to shit.

    spurious - please play nice

    todd - see above

ok kids... lets remember the basic rules of OTAP.... critiques are fine, but there's a line between being a dick and being honest.
