I just started a high calorie/high protein diet (4000cal/220g protein) this past monday after making the decision to focus on getting bigger as my #1 priority. I'm in the military and do assloads of pushups/pullups, however I don't gain weight. Is it unreasonable to look for a 20lb lean gain in 3 months time? I'm 23yr old, currently 5'10 140lbs.

    Few pics:

I'm looking for criticism on what parts of my body are lacking (if not the whole thing) in comparison to others. Again, is it possible to put on 20lbs of lean mass in 3 months time? No reason for the 3 months other than I want to establish a goal.

    I appreciate any advice/criticism.

You could probably put on 10 quality lbs in 3months, 20 is pushing it.

12 is a good goal for 3 months.

If you did succeed in putting on 20lbs it probably wouldn't be long term muscle gain.

I just started creatine so I'm expecting a lot of water weight. Also using Big Blast from proteinfactory, I've heard some really good things about it.

i was almost the same weight and the same height as you when i started lifting. you look like a body double for me :o

after 3 solid months of lifting and eating better ive gained 15-17lbs, started at 145. im sure 5lbs or so of it is the creatine though.

You're about the same as I was when I started too

    Currently I'm 23yrs old and 5'10; 161lbs

I've put on a little bit of fat (can hardly see my abs anymore) but I'm going to keep bulking until i get around 180

A badass goal for lean gains is 2 lbs a month. Anymore and I doubt it would be lean unless your running gear.
