New to Fish Oil v. Need some recommendations

    I have been battling Acid Reflux and consequently off all supplements besides Whey and a Multi. I have been reading and listening to experienced builders and most recommend Fish Oil. I was a bit confused when I went to compare products because I don't know much about the science of the "essential fats" that is the main benefit from fish oil.

    I was also thinking about doing a superdrol clone later on, but that will be another thread.

    Cliffs: Recommend me a fish oil and dose if possible. ~ *Would like to know about the benefits*

    Side Information:
    5'8 ~180lbs. (off cycle) ~13% body fat
    I never, ever eat fish.

    2-3g /day of combined EPA + DHA

    i use nature made double strength, has 1200 mg of EPA/DHA per 2 pills, so you only need to take 4 a day instead of 8+

    costco pills are cheap

    make sure they are enterically coated so you dont' get fish burps

    Ive got a serious question. Everytime I take fish oil or flax seed capsules, the next day i get random pimples around my mouth. I;ve got clear skin for the most part and havent had acne since like the 10th grade until it started disappearing. Could the fish oil or flax seed be the cause of the random outbreaks on my face?

    the same reason that the "recommended" diet for a grown man is 2000 calories and 75g of protein. They're not designed around the needs of someone with serious fitness goals.

    i get them at the supermarket, usually when they have them on sale for 50% off, so they are 7.50 /bottle.

    docosahexaenoic and eicosapentaenoic acids are the omega-3 fats are found in fish.
