On my lower leg, done by Ben Wahhh.

The brambly roses are a play off the saying "every rose has its thorn" and Chicago has indeed pricked me with its' thorns over the years. But I still love it enough to honor it in ink :)

Should have gone with the "CHI-TONW" tattoo.

I :slap: both the artist and the guy getting it done in this instance.

Buddy of mine knew how to read, speak, and write japanese. He made his own Ying/Yang tattoo with 2 separate japanese symbols inside. He took it to the artist who changed the one symbol and my buddy, being "giddy" with the rush to get it done, didn't pay enough attention and said "go for it."

I pointed it out to him just a mere 2 hours after it was completed and he was showing me since he was showing me the original piece he drew and having me compare it to his back.

He was even more pissed when the artist didn't even apologize for changing symbols without telling him or offering money back.

And yeah, this is one of the few cases I know of where someone actually knew exactly what was getting tattooed on them in a foreign language.
