ive got it running barebones right now

    Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P board
    AMD Phenom 2 x2 550 BE
    Crucial ballistix tracer 2x2gb
nvidia geforce 6600gt (it was laying around)
    Seagate 200gb ata hd
    430 Antec Smart Power PSU

The board, cpu, and memory are for my main machine which is half way across the country right now (board is bad in that). I had this crap shipped to my parents house while i was here and threw it together to see if it'd work and sure enough i get nothing. It turns on and everything spins up but I get a blank display and the LED's on the ram stay on solid. There arent any beeps either

I have a feeling it might be the PSU. 430w seems a little low for whats in there but it might just be me.

    any ideas?

I have a feeling it wasn't because it was too weak.

might have just been bad. The PSU is at least 8 years old. The last system that it ran had an AMD 1.1ghz tbird chip in it. It blew dust everywhere out the back of it when i first fired it up. Soon as I got the new one plugged in the system powered right up

maybe it couldn't post because its account was banned. i've heard that happen when people post NSFW stuff in the wrong forum.
