I know in Super Mario World, any level that appeared on the map as a red circle had 2 different ways to beat it each leading to a different path on the map. I think all ghost houses did too.

Is there anything in this one that tells you if there are 2 ways to beat a particular board?

Not sure if there's an indicator, but in that hint house I noticed that some of them show alternate ways to end levels.

Really makes me wish I hadn't sold my Wii. This and Mario Kart would have been enough for me to keep it but I'm stupid.

Anyone know how to get to the alternate exit in 2-6 that leads to the cannon?

I beat one tonight on world 1 a different way leading to the cannon and it didn't look different than any other level so maybe there's no way to tell...

The only thing that seems to suggest if a level has an alternate exit is looking at the map screen around the level to see if there are any Mushroom Houses or canons that are closeby. I don't think there are any "secret" secret levels or exits, ala Super Mario World... although I wish this game was more like SMW :hs:

Gotta trade in 2 participating items and you get the wii for 150.

I don't know what they are, but I'm sure you could just call and ask. Probably some games.

There is a red pipe near the end of the level, way up high. I think I had a propeller suit on. ;)

Nah, it's Mario, Luigi and 2 different color toads. No princess because...guess what...you gotta rescue her!

I guess the original plan was to have her playable but there was some difficulty with the character model....because she's a girl it would be completely different.

I think on their site under trade-in specials it goes more into detail.
It's ridiculous though. The qualifying games these days are all expensive games that just came out.....like anytime they have the "trade 2 games get this new game for 19.99" the list is all games from 1-2 months earlier that are still $60.00...so you can trade 2 games you spent $120 dollars on recently AND $20 to get 1 $60.00 game....it's kind of a burn. You could still sell the games on the list for $40ish on ebay EACH.

Its the same sitch for the wii...its newer PS3 and Xbox games traded in to get the Wii at 50 dollars off.

Yeah. Not a whole lot so far though...
I think I'm on world 3 and have only ran into him once or twice...and now that I think about it, I'm not sure if he comes out of the level with you if you beat it still riding him. So he may be restricted to the level you find him on...I'll have to check on that, that'd be kind of lame...

I know for sure that the apples he eats are NOT on every level. They were only on the one(s) that he was on....on SMW you could find those apples everywhere so if you happened to have a yoshi they were there.

I dont think so. If one of the other players dies they just get to continue right where you are.

Figured as much...still if you're the kind of person that just trades in at gamestop anyways its more than you'd get for those games normally.

Yeah that's true. I'm not big on trading in. I worked at Babbages in 2000(ish) and saw the kind of people that you'd see on Friday buying a game, then see them the next week trading it in at less than half value and I just didnt get it.

I keep most of my stuff..unless I buy a brand new game and don't like it at all I'll sell it on ebay or craigslist for a 10-15 dollar loss but I don't think it's worth it to buy something for $60 dollars and trade it in for $15. I'd rather keep it - someday I'll play it again..
