i'm tired of my style. my school clothes are just picked out for "i'm gonna sweat, minus whale wear something comfortable." and my weekend/out clothes are ok, i guess...could use an improvement though

i'm 5'10, 215lbs...i'm not ALL muscle, so i do have a little bit of fat...

i have a problem with pants sizes...either they're really tight and grip my ass and thighs (36) or extremely loose and just looks baggy (38).
recently found out that a lot of the guys at F&N have this same problem

i'm gonna use a template someone here posted for "i need a new style" thread:

what kind of things do you like doing?
    -
weight training/powerlifting, used to play paintball

what kind of music do you listen to?
    - rap, metal, some other things

    whats your body type?
    - 5'10 @ 215, muscle w/ some fat

what do you wear now and why do you like wearing it?
    - school- any shirt and shorts (plaid, cargo, army)
    - weekend/out- pants (baggy unfortunately), with either button down or a shirt...rarely a polo

is there a style you're currently eyeing?
    - i tried looking around at some celebrity styles...but i couldn't think of anyone in hollywood that weighs more than 200. i ended up looking at wrestlers' pics and 98% of thier pics are in their wrestling attire so that didn't help :o

any help would be much appreciated. if you have any questions, just let me know :hsd:

Polos and cargos are great man, cargos look a little better slightly baggy so a 38 might work out depending on the brand.

    weird size crew checking in.

ive found that lots of guys will look a shit ton better if they simply buy things that fit.

i finally got a friend of mine into t-shirts that are new and his size. Just by that he looks about 92384769285 times better.

hes like 5'10" 250. and not a power lifter by any means.

    wear shit that fits. (period)

like i said, shirts aren't that big of an issue...for shirts, it's more of a "where to buy" thing

pants are the big problem. it's either wearing pants that are tight around my ass and thighs (size 36) or wearing very loose, baggy pants (size 38)

i was going to suggest trying some levis as well :dunno:

my friend who is like 5"10 260 tried lucky's on at nordstroms and said those fit him great you can try them too... they are ~90-120 but if you have a nordstrom rack near by i think you can pick them up for 40-60.

This probably won't sound like good advise comming from a girl, But I have issues with sizing and fit due to shaoe as welll (happens to men and women of ALL sizes). Whatever it is you are looking for, you HAVE to Try EVERY thing on. Go outside your comfort zone AND your percieved size range and try and asston of shit on. then, you can find what CUTS fit you and what sizes in certain brands flatter your body.

From there the "style" part just comes from pairing shit that everyone else says 'looks good' and the shit that you feel good in. A man in some well fitting jeans that he looks comfy in will always look better than a man i so called "IN" items that don't fit his body or his comfort.

SO in all.. go try lots of differnt shit on and go with what feels and looks good.
