    That's one of the deals I saw at the gun show. Should I scrounge up $300 and jump on it or what?

    no. you may as well get an XD instead.

    no one is going to make accessories for the steyr like they are doing for the xd right now

    Sounds like a pretty good deal to me, I'de probably get it but depends what your planning to do with it? Like Waylon said you wont find as many accessories for it as other guns but then, as long as the stock trigger and what not are fine I see no reason to go mod'ing it, Thunderbear should be able to tell ya how the trigger pull and stuff is.

    Brand new? Decent deal. Lightly used are running 250-290ish. Need to know the serial to see where it falls in the trigger reset arena. IIRC, > 10XXX you're good to go. If you do want to whore it out with accessories, there is a proprietary Steyr to picatinny adapter.

    Did you pick it up and handle it at all?
