    just did an update for myself today about ~1 month. my back was exhausted today from those deadlifts so my form suffered a bit. still having trouble getting my arms under the squat bar.

    and how's this deadlift form?? my back killed by this point but I had to try since I had the cam. my legs also felt like they were about to explode :hsd:

    deadlift today: -- shit i just realised i forgot to take my shoes off :hsd: ALSO I was FALLING back when doing these. Is it because I just don't have enough weight? It's only 135

    :werd: the heavy deads were from wednesday. always do squats first unless I go for 1RM

    I tried squatting for the first time in a long time yesterday after just doing cardio/machine lifting for 3 months.
    (went from 260 lbs to 205 lbs)
    Managed 185x8 (light testing weight)
    Then tried 225, got three clean.
    did 185x6 after..

    Ow that hurt a lot later in the legs :/ . The weight is low I think for my build/weight (6'0.5", 205lbs) but im gonna work on it.

    Anyway, you seem to be making the kind of progress I want so congrats

    quit lifting in those shoes get some with a flat sole at least for deadlifting

    i'm gonna deadlift in socks from now on.

    i thought having a heel in a running shoe is better for deep squats?

    :rofl: I didn't even realise the music at the time... I'm so focused in the gym it doesn't matter. I think I'll start bringing my mp3 player though.

    What do you think of the form on my deads?

    Your deads are looking much better but you still need to keep your chest up. Also make sure your ass isent too low to the ground.
