    Built this new site:

    www.feedkiller.com

Basically it allows RSS readers or web masters to build a single feed with the top headlines from multiple feeds.

    It will be functional tomorrow.

Site is working if anyone wants to give it a shot

  3. so then it will take like the contents of multiple RSS feeds and place it into it's own seperate single feed for me to use? Sorry just skimming over the page for now, but i'll take a more indepth look later.

Also what is the "stories" field used for when making your custom feed?

The stories field is how many of the top stories from the feed you want to use. But basically you could have 10 of your favorite feeds, put them into 1 single feed that shows you just the newest story from each one.

I mostly built this to learn how to parse / create xml files, but some people such as web masters may use it to put content on their site. If it gets to the point where my site is serving a ton of feeds I may shoot some ads in them :o

Me too. After I started this I saw one or 2 that were sort of similar, but it just let you pick from a couplefeeds in a drop down list and it merges the entire feed. You can't control it at all.

That is very cool. I'm not a fan of using the grey to separate the different sections. I think you need to use a color which stands out a bit more from the white for that. I also think that instead of using a text link for adding another feed you should make a button for it so it stands out more. But other than that I love the site, it works well and its very simple to use.

    Thanks,

I am planning on making the form much larger and 'web 2.0 design ish'

What grey are you talking about? On the menu? Or the lines on the body?

Awesome website, just made a rss (Toronto Sports). A recommendation would be to sort the items in order by time. I noticed it currently takes the first rss, then second, then third etc.. If there is a way to compile all rss into one single, instead of one after another, sorted by time would be amazing!

I agree, I bought feedbine.com which is a bit better, but this one sounds cooler i thought

It goes and "picks up" different feeds to combine a single feed. logo could include a cab, black/yellow colors.

    the domain is available

i would NEVER run a site with a word in the domain spelled incorrectly. I would hope he wouldn't either.

I see there's one entry for agregator, but 99% of people will spell it aggregator
